At My Hair Couture, our hair comes from healthy individuals located around the world. We use our own process to preserve the natural health and beauty of our hair to ensure it stays as healthy as possible, for as long as possible.

Our Process

When we receive the raw hair, we wash, condition, air dry, and then package it so it arrives to you ready-to-wear. We do not process any of our hair with harsh chemicals and we leave the cuticles intact, pointing in the same direction to prevent tangling and matting. Is it Raw or is it Remy?

Virgin hair is not processed for color, pattern etc. Virgin hair is raw hair from a donor that has been sanitized, wefted, washed and conditioned. The difference between Remy and virgin hair is that we use steam to process our Remy hair—an important difference to note.  Some companies try to pass off processed Remy hair with perfect curl patterns as raw virgin hair. We do not!
